Welcome to The Bonnet Creek Blog! We have created this blog to keep you up-to-date on all the exciting happenings at Bonnet Creek, Hilton’s largest project to date. As you probably know, Bonnet Creek is Orlando’s newest luxury destination. It is a 482-acre site of natural woodlands and protected wildlife surrounded on three sides by Walt Disney World® Resort. Bonnet Creek is truly stunning: an oasis in the middle of the excitement of Disney. It features two hotels: Waldorf Astoria® Orlando, the first-ever newly built Waldorf Astoria since the legendary landmark in New York City, and Hilton Orlando Bonnet Creek.
My husband and I would like to stay here to celebrate our 5th anniversary in November. I am undecided if we should choose the Waldorf or the Hilton on the property. We do not have children and enjoy a quiet, serene experience. Will both properties be ready for occupancy in November? Would you suggest one over the other? Is there any transportation available to nearby theme parks? Thank you for your time.
Jennifer, let me first congratulate you on your 5 years of marriage. We would be honored to have you celebrate such a special occasion at Bonnet Creek, opening October 1. I can tell you that no matter which hotel you chose, you will be more than delighted by the experiences offered. What is great about Bonnet Creek is that the two hotels enjoy reciprocal use of amenities. So while you may stay at the Hilton, you can enjoy the wonderful dining options of Waldorf Astoria Orlando which are the same as those found in the original in New York City, or if you are at the Waldorf, you may chose to relax in the lazy river at the Hilton. Both hotels offer complimentary transportation to the Disney parks to our guests direct from the hotel to the parks.
While the Waldorf is very family friendly, it is a bit more formal than the Hilton which I think you will enjoy on this special occasion. Check out our “Do Not Disturb” package which features a spacious guestroom, champagne and berries upon arrival, bed in breakfast, and the use of a private poolside cabana which offers a variety of amenities. You can see the complete details of this package and our other packages at http://www.waldorfastoriaorlando.com/packages/. Also check out Hilton’s packages at http://www.hiltonbonnetcreek.com/packages.
My husband and I are booked into the Waldorf Orlando in October to celebrate our 25th Wedding Anniversary. We were so excited about our long awaited trip that we have actually added an additional day to the booking and upgraded our room. Since, Bonnet Creek is a new development opening on October 1st, is construction on schedule? We are hoping that the pool, restaurants etc… will be available during our visit. The pictures of the hotels (both Hilton and Waldorf) look beautiful. Looking forward to an memorable, relaxing vacation.
Hi Barbara,
We at Bonnet Creek are very excited that you will be spending your 25th wedding anniversary with us at Waldorf Astoria Orlando. I can ensure you that the hotel will open completed on October 1. We are actually ahead of schedule and as long as a month ago the hotel looked finished. You can see updated photos taken two weeks ago on http://www.facebook.com/BonnetCreek. All amenities including golf, spa, pools, and dining options, will be available to you during your stay. Please forward your reservation to bonnetcreekorlando@gmail.com so that I may ensure your reservation is given the added attention it deserves! Thank you for choosing to stay with us on such a momentous occasion and congratulations to you and your husband for your 25 years together.

Does the Hilton Bonnet Creek qualify as an “Extra Magic Hours” hotel?
What transportation service do you recommend for getting to the hotel from the airport?
Hi Wendy. We at this time are not qualified as an Extra Magic Hours Hotel. I’m not sure if you are getting a rental car since we offer complimentary transportation to Disney parks and attractions. If you are, Hertz rental car is at the airport. If you aren’t planning on getting a rental car you may take a taxi to the property. Thanks Wendy.
My husband and I are staying at your hotel from Nov 12-16th. I am curious as to whether the deluxe suite has a small fridge we can keep our water in. Also, will there be a microwave in the room fom me to make my herb tea?
We are very much looking forward to staying at your new hotel. We stayed at the Wyndham bonnet Creek so we know the area and know how convenient it is. This trip is just for my husband and I so rather than the family style of the Wyndham we want to kick it up a notch.
Thanks for your reply.
Laurie
Hi Laurie, The Deluxe Suite does have a small fridge for you. There is no microwave but our room service staff will be more than happy to bring you hot water for your tea 24-hours a day at no charge. We look forward to seeing you during your stay. I’m sure it will be a very special treat for you and your husband! Thank you.
Hello!
My husband and 2 daughtors will be heading to Florida this spring and will be staying at your fine resort. I am curious as to the cost for childcare or nanny services for your program.
Thanks,
Kori
We look forward to seeing you at Bonnet Creek! The cost of the WA Kids Club with supervised activities is $15 per hour per child. You can learn more on our website: http://www.waldorfastoriaorlando.com/activities/kids/

Does your resort qualify for the extra disney magic hours in 2010?
Hi Barbara, As of right now we are not part of Disney’s extra magic hours. Please let us know if there is anything else we can answer for you.
